Class Organisation and Timings of the School Day
Dallas Road Community Primary School has 14 classes from Reception to Year Six (two classes in each year group.
School starts: 8.50a.m.
(children are welcome in their classrooms from 8.40 a.m.)
Lunchtime: (FS/KS1 – YR/Y1/Y2) 12.00 to 12.45 p.m.
Lunchtime: (LKS2 - Y3/4) 12.10 p.m. to 12.55 p.m.
Lunchtime: (UKS2 – Y5/6) 12.30 p.m. – 1.15 p.m.
School finishes: 3.20pm
Each year group also has a twenty minute morning break and Y1/2 have a 10 minute afternoon break.
This complies with the expectation that schools provide a 32.5 hour week.
