Mr Walker teaches 6W and is supported by Mrs Harding, Miss Member & Mrs Lowson

Miss Moss & Mr Newton teach 6MN and are supported by Miss Stoddon

Miss Bradley and Miss Snell teach Tuesday afternoons covering PPA

 

Surgery Times

If you wish to see us about any issues concerning your child we are generally around before and after school, please feel free to just pop in. 

NB avoid Tuesday afternoon. 

(If you're making a special journey it is best to check with the school office as we do occasionally have meetings etc.) 

 

PE

Monday afternoon : Outdoor PE

 

Friday afternoon : Swimming - Autumn term (September - December, Swimming never takes place on the first and last week of a term). 

 

For Outdoor PE, please make sure children come into school wearing their PE kits. They can stay in their kit for the full day. For swimming, please make sure they bring their kit in with them in a suitable bag. 

 

Special Assembly Dates

19th July -  Leavers' assembly (bring tissues!)

 

Expectations in Year 6

 

  • To begin to take more responsibility for their own learning.
  • To demonstrate greater independence and organisational skills.
  • To know the times tables 1-12 inside out!
  • To understand the relevance of maths in the real world.
  • To read daily for pleasure and for purpose, including a variety of text types.
  • To learn spellings and spelling rules and to ensure clear and legible handwriting.
  • To push themselves and to engage in deeper thinking to achieve their full potential.

 

Key Stage 2 Tests 2019

 

Monday 13th May – Thursday 16th May

 

Monday 13th - English: GPS

Tuesday 14th - English:  Reading

Wednesday 15th - Maths Paper 1: Arithmetic & Maths Paper 2 : Reasoning

Thursday 16th - Maths Paper 3: Reasoning
